Pole & light can be removed from the base by loosening the plastic compression base cap (as seen in the photo) to be stored horizontally when placing the boat cover, while the cable is still attached
Pole can also be retracted into the boat to desired height given there is enough cable slack and room under the mounted surface
Suitable for sail and power boats up to 15 m
